When you can’t find him shredding on North Shore waves at home in Hawaii or shooshing down the slopes in Canada then you can probably find my oldest brother resting on the shores of Bali. The Indonesian resort island, known for its rugged volcanoes and stunning beaches, is one of his favorite vacation spots. Another reason why its one of his personal faves is that he often scores fabulous travel deals there, which means he can save serious cash and surf some of the best waves in the world.

Eight hundred dollars is all it will take for you to sign up for Escapes Unlimited five-night getaway to Bali. For $1,300 Asian Affair Holidays is offering a deluxe tour package. The cost covers a five-night stay at an upscale hotel, airfare, and guided tours. It’s valid for departures from San Francisco or L.A. through April 1st. Daily buffet breakfast is also included as are airport transfers and a full-day Barong Dance and Kintamani tour, with lunch.
If you prefer to go the all-inclusive route then consider Virgin Vacations’ seven-night package good for travel through the end of May. For just $1,600 you’ll get round-trip air from L.A. or San Francisco, a seven-night stay at a beachfront resort; three meals a day and all domestic alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; all non-motorized water sports; airport transfers; and three guided tours, which includes two half-day trips and a day-long excursion around northern Bali.
