Banana Pie
A great candidate for substituting sweetner for the sugar to prepare a dietary or diabetic dessert.
INGREDIENTS:
4 large bananas
2 large egg yolks, reserve whites
2 tbs flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 count pie shell, cooked
DIRECTIONS:
1. Mash bananas and mix in egg yolks, flour and sugar. Spoon into pie shell.
2. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
3. Top pie with beaten egg white meringue. Put back in oven until suitably browned.
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 25 minutes
