Barney has been a childhood friend for some time now. His jolly character and cuddly appearance is very inviting to children. He has been known to make both the young and old at heart smile with joy.

The Barney movie “Fun and Games” displays his typical movie pattern in that it features Barney, Baby Bop, and a group of children.
Barney comes to life and creates a fun filled adventure for the children. He promises to show them his game machine but to their disappointment it is not working properly.
The children must search for games to add to the machine to make it work. They find many different items and have great fun along the way. While searching for items, the children take part in playing some other games and singing songs. The mood is very positive and upbeat with music as most of Barney’s videos are.
Once the game machine gets full, the play yard turns into a huge game board for the children. They take turns playing as the game pieces. As the children land on piece they are prompted to play different life size games.
In their games the children fly airplanes, play “Ten in the bed” and more.
At the end, Baby Bop discovers that she had dropped her yellow blanky in the game machine.
This is a very positive video. While it does not offer as much educational value as some of the others, it does feature good character skills.
It also features some songs and games that your children will likely recognize.
