Belgian Truffle Cheesecake

Belgian Truffle Cheesecake
A visually appealing and mouth pleasing dessert.

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups chocolate Wafer cookies, finely crushed
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
24 oz cream cheese
4 larges eggs
1/3 cup hazelnut liqueur
8 squares bittersweet chocolate
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
5 count bittersweet chocolate curls

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine wafer crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture evenly over bottom & up sides to within 1/2″ of top of 9″ springform.
2. Refrigerate while preparing filling. Beat softened cream cheese & sugar until blend until smooth.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in liqueur, then melted chocolate. Blend in 1/2 cup sour cream.
4. Pour into prepared pan. Smooth top. Bake at 350 for 45 to 55 minutes or just until center is barely set.
5. Cool completely on wire rack, then refrigerate overnight.
6. Run sharp knife around edge of cake to loosen; remove pan rim. Spread top of cake with sour cream.
7. Arrange chocolate curls on top and dust with powdered sugar.
