Are you looking for some fun scrapbooking projects to help you fill up these least few days of summer? Stacy Julian and two members of her team at Big Picture Scrapbooking are offing 3 free classes that you can take anytime in August.
Most of the classes at Big Picture Scrapbooking run on a set timetable with one start date and set dates for assignment completion, but these three summer classes are available for you to download and complete at your leisure. They will be adding more projects for you to complete during the month of August.
Each mini class/lesson includes a downloadable pdf with a great picture of the project and then tips and tools needed to complete the project are included on the second page. There are also audio files that you can download and listen to from each of the three teachers. They talk about their favorite things about summer and introduce themselves. It’s a nice way to become familiar with people who will be teaching more involved classes in the upcoming months.
Even if you aren’t ready to go these projects now, you could download them and save them for later when you are looking for some fun summertime projects.
The first class offered is taught by Stacy Julian who is Simple Scrapbooks creative director and founder of Big Picture Scrapbooking. Stacy’s project is a fun way to preserve you summer memories on a flip-flop. Yes, a flip-flop. I think that it such a fun idea.
The second project/lesson that is offered is taught by Laurie Stamas. She shares a digital scrapbook page that she has created about summer. Whether or not you are a digital scrapper, you can draw inspiration from her layout.
Lisa Damrosch teaches the final lesson that is on the site. She shares a great summer layout and encourages the “student” to focus on one summer pleasure and scrapbook it.
This site is full of fun ideas that are sure to inspire. You will want to check back next month because they will be offering several new classes for this fall.
