What are we going to give Jessie for her birthday? Each year she’s older there’s more available that’s age appropriate, fun, and educational. There is so much I want to give her, but I can’t give her everything. I have to save something for Christmas.
Bicycle
Grammy and Poppa are giving Jessie her first big-girl bicycle. I don’t know what it looks like, but they have their eyes on either a 12-inch or 14-inch two-wheel bicycle with training wheels. Jessie should be very excited.
Elmo
We gave Jessie Elmo Live for her first birthday. It made her smile so I got it for her. I didn’t notice that it was for 18 months and up. She has loved her Elmo to death and I think she’d appreciate a new one.
Bath Toys
She loves to play in the tubby. Tubby toys get nasty after a while, though, and need to be replaced. I should soak hers in bleach too. I’d really like to get her a doll that she can play with in the tub.
Dollhouse
There’s a commercial running now for the Fisher Price Loving Grand Dollhouse that looks like something Jessie would really enjoy. The house folds compactly for storage. It comes with a family of dolls, but very little furniture.
Outside Toys
With winter approaching now is not the best time to look into outside toys. I’d still like Jessie to have a jungle gym and playhouse. She would have a lot of fun.
Pictures
This is more for me than for her, but I’d like to take her to Buy Buy Baby to get pictures taken. I’ve done pictures for every other milestone except two. Grandpa gave me pictures for my birthday, but that was July and I want them again.
