Calendar kits

With the New Year just around the corner, it is time to start thinking about creating a new calendar to help keep you organized in 2007. As scrapbookers, we have many fun resources to help make the creating of a calendar fun and fast. There are many companies that have come out with calendar scrapbooking kits. Some of the kits have the pages almost finished and all you need to do it add the photos. If you are looking for a bit more of a challenge, then there is a calendar kit for you too!

I’d like to share a few of my favorite calendar kit options.

Heidi Swapp. This calendar comes blank on the top page and the bottom page is a grid where you use the included letter stickers to fill in the dates. It will take a little more time to fill in the date for each day of the month, but this is a calendar kit that will work for any year since it isn’t predated. Since the top page of each calendar spread is blank, you can use your own creativity to create each layout.

Karen Foster Designs. This calendar also comes blank so that you can create whatever design you desire.

They also sell a 12 x 12 patterned paper for each month of the year.

They also have coordinating rub-ons for each month.

Boxer Scrapbooks.

This is a blank calendar that you can customize. The date square come undated so it will work for any year.

SEI. This is a really cute calendar kit that takes a lot of the work out of designing, but will still leave you with a creative product.

The top page on each calendar layout looks like a scrapbook layout with black spaces for your photos. It also comes with sheets of die cut pictures that you can use to enhance each page.

These calendars make great gifts for grandparents and other relatives. It is also fun to put one up in your own home so that you can look at the pictures from the previous year and enjoy the growth of everyone in your family.
