“Can A Marriage be Saved?”

At some point in the lives of certain couples they begin to wonder if a divorce is not the only option for happiness. Fussing, fighting, and arguments seem to encircle their lives and they begin to look for ways out.

At this point, you have to stop and ask yourself, “Can this marriage be saved?” Only the two of you can answer that question.

Some marriages can be saved and unfortunately some cannot.

If both partners are willing to make an effort, the marriage likely can succeed. However it cannot be done by one person alone. Completely giving in and only satisfying your mate might make him happy and even you for a short time. However, you will eventually learn that you are not being true to yourself.

There are several options to making your marriage work.

Marriage counseling is one of them. Some couples find that simply talking with a third party that is not partial to either side helps.

For some couples simple communication is the key. Many times we take for granted that the other one knows what we need and how we feel. This is not always true. Sometimes it is necessary to tell your spouse how you feel and what is making you unhappy.

Some couples find that a brief separation is what they need. This may be as simple as an individual vacation for one of you or a couple of months apart. Sometimes taking a peek into how life would be without one another is just the right thing to rekindle your love.

Sadly, some couples have just grown apart and will never get back what they once had. Sometimes a flame can be relit enough to keep the couple together but not as strongly as before. However, some couples, despite effort, simply can do nothing more than to part ways. These couples can usually do so and at least remain peaceful acquaintances.
