Can You Find The Remotes In Your House?

One can only surmise that this question can be answered sufficiently if a few conditions are present. First, one must know how many remotes there are to find in one’s humble abode and then count backwards. The second step, which involves finding them, is not that simple. If you are one of those who believes in a place for everything and everything in its place, I can only say that I agree with you cosmically and completely. I would also take my hat off to you, that is, if I could find my hat!

I have often wondered how much time I waste during the day and evening looking for those damn things. We have four televisions and thus the same number of you-know-whats. I have the kind of remote controls that seem to not only have feet, but also minds of their own! I also wonder about how I could possibly forget where I put something that was in my hot little hand not thirty seconds before. Is this end of the world, as we know it? Where is the world anyway?

The ultimate question that lurks above us all in the deep of night and the cold light of day is: How remote is the possibility of finding the remotes in your house? “Remote” is the unanimous answer in mine!

Let us all unite in our desire to find these annoying little things. Maybe we could even form a club so that no one needs to be embarrassed to speak their mind, however misplaced it may be. I would have to honestly ask myself before joining if, with my given track record, I could even find the clubhouse.
