If you’ve got it flaunt it, right? If you are a celebrity and money is no object than pushing your precious bundle of joy in a golden stroller is more the norm than the exception. Norm, what am I talking about? If your parents are high profile rockers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, then it is a requirement. Or, so it seems anyway.
Stefani was recently spotted pushing baby Kingston around London in a “ghetto-fabulous” gold stroller by cult British brand Mama and Papas. The gold (it looks like gold lame) stroller is a limited edition stroller–only ten of them were made (and Daddy Diddy’s already nabbed one—hope it was a double). For now, the blinged out stroller is available exclusively at Selfridges in the UK, but if you have $860 to drop, you can add yourself to the growing waiting list.
When baby Kingston is not being wheeled around in style, he is being toted around by his parents like a little prince in a variety of comfy and adorable slings. Both Stefani and Rossdale have been photographed carrying Kingston around in funky reversible slings in a variety of colors and patterns (including leopard print). You can pick one up for your little fashionista at The Rockin’ Baby Shop. If you do you’ll be in good company, apparently, Angelina Jolie and Courteney Cox are also fans of the Rockin’ baby slings as is actresses Kate Hudson and Brooke Shields. (The slings are reportedly sturdy enough to hold infants and toddlers.)
His mom may be Manolo Blahnik’s biggest fan, so it should come as no surprise that Sarah Jessica Parker’s son James Wilkie would be wearing some of the hottest kids’ shoes? Stride Rite’s First Mate sandal comes in brown (SJP’s choice for her little guy) and in white (the preferred color for Coco Arquette, daughter of Courteney Cox and David Arquette). Word has it they aren’t the only famous kids wearing Stride Rite’s–a variety of entertainment magazines are reporting that little Suri Cruise, has plenty of pairs for her now highly anticipated public appearances. (Wonder if she will be donning a pair for her parent’s wedding?)
