Celebrity Fit Club Host: Harvey Walden IV

The retired marine, now turned host of the popular TV show, “Celebrity Fit Club”, follows a strict regimen to weight loss. He endorses six, smaller sized meals a day as a way to achieve weight loss. Walden recommends a small portion of lean protein at each meal, such as turkey with whole wheat bread, not white bread. Green apples serve as his snack. He also states that dinner should be by seven in the evening. Eating any later than this tends to pile on the pounds. Cutting portion sizes down and adding exercise to your daily life will help you to drop the weight, he believes. I could not agree with him more.

Walden states that if you work out before you eat breakfast in the morning will shock the body into burning the most extreme amounts of fat. In addition to his cardio routine exercise program he ends it with a 30-flight stair climbing regimen. That is just his cardio portion of regular exercise. His strength training sessions take place three days a week on large muscle group emphasis. Walden rests only one day of the week out of seven.

Walden suggests keeping a diary of your workout sessions. He does this and it lets him figure out what has worked in the past for him when he hits a plateau.

Walden has become very popular with his sound, non-sweet talking advice on the “Celebrity Fit Club” and although he has a somewhat harsh exterior this is a sergeant that demands perfection. He is a drill instructor that gets results because of it.

You can catch Walden’s other tips by watching “Celebrity Fit Club” and following his weight loss and fitness advice. In addition to being a fitness instructor, Walden is the author of “Harvey Walden’s No Excuses! Fitness Workout”.
