When planning your wedding you’ll find that all the little things really add up. That includes wedding favors. But, what if you could make them yourself to save some money, and still have charming favors that don’t look cheap? Perfect!
First, gather your girls to give you a hand. Have a girl’s night and while you giggle and gossip, have everyone help out. You’ll have your wedding favors put together in no time.

Next, order some round labels that will work with your computer printer. They come in clear, white, color, or foil. You can order online at World Label or you should also be able to find them at many retailers and office supply stores.
Print the labels with a message or your and your beloved’s names and the date of your wedding. Affix them to the inside of the tin lids, and fill the tins with candy. You can buy candy at a bulk candy shop or any candy store online. Choose something special.
Now all you need is some wired ribbon. Choose ribbon about 1” wide, sheer, in your wedding colors. Create fancy bows and affix them to the tops of the tins. Add tiny satin flowers or metallic heart confetti if desired, or just keep it simple go for the clean-line look with a hand-tied bow on top.
You should be able to make these favors for around $1.00 each, if you buy everything in bulk, and they will add a modern touch of charm to your wedding celebration.
