Digital Scrapbooking Magazine

We all use computers to at least some extent when it comes to scrapbooking. Maybe it is just to print the title of a page or print out the journaling, but it could involve a lot more that. Digital scrapbooking has become increasingly popular over the last couple of years. I still have not created an entirely digital page, mostly because I am not sure where to start. I have a feeling that once I do start creating a few digital pages, it will be more fun than I was expecting.

If you are like me and want to learn more about digital scrapbooking, or you already have some experience with digital pages, I think that you will be interested in a new sister magazine to Creating Keepsakes and Simple Scrapbooks titled Digital Scrapbooking.

The first magazine will debut in January 2007 and will be filled with pages, ideas and tips for digital scrapbooking. It seems that digital scrapbooking is only getting started and has so much to offer; so having a magazine focused on this niche of our hobby is a wonderful idea.

You can visit the Digital Scrapbooking website to get a little bit of information on the magazine. They have started a blog where it looks like they will be posting page calls and other news. They have a fun wish list on the blog that is filled with several creative must have items for digital scrappers.

You can subscribe on the site for $11.99 for the year. This is a charter subscription price that will be offered for a limited time. If you do subscribe, you do not pay now, you will just be billed later.

The website also allows you to sign up for their newsletter. This is a great way for you to be reminded and updated about the magazine without committing to the subscription right away.

I wish the Digital Scrapbooking team much success with this new venture!
