Disneymooning: Honeymooning at the WDW Resort

The Walt Disney World Resort offers an amazing setting for an all inclusive, romantic honeymoon that will live in your memory for years to come.

When you begin planning your Walt Disney World honeymoon, known to some as DisneyMooning, you’ll initially need to choose between a “land honeymoon” and a “sea honeymoon.” Both of these options are pretty self-explanatory, but depending on what type of memories you want to make for your honeymoon, you’ll need to take into account what each type of honeymoon has to offer.

If you’re looking for something a bit more exotic, a Disney Sea Honeymoon is a great way to go. With either a 3, 5, or 7 night Disney Cruise Line package you can visit The Bahamas or the Caribbean aboard a Disney Cruise ship. The basic package includes:

  • 3-, 4- or 7-night Disney Cruise Line cruise, plus a day at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay
  • Romantic gift amenity delivered to your stateroom (one per package)
  • Couples massage at the Vista Spa & Salon
  • Priority seating at Palo for one night
  • Romance turndown service (one night)
  • Champagne breakfast in bed (one morning)

If you’re getting married at the resort, you may prefer this package if other family members will be staying at the resort later and then conclude your honeymoon on land at the Walt Disney World Resort when your guests have finally returned to their respective homes.

Of course, nothing can really top honeymooning at the Walt Disney World Resort itself. Disney offers three separate honeymoon packages from a base package that includes hotel accommodations, Magic Your Way Base Tickets, and transportation via the Disney Magical Express service from the airport to a premium package that includes Magic Your Way Premium Tickets, a dining plan, unlimited admission to Disney’s premium theme park tours, admission to Cirque de Soleil along with accommodations and transportation to your Disney World resort via the Disney Magical Express service.

The Walt Disney World Resort offers some amazing locations and entertainment for a spectacular honeymoon. From World Showcase’s breathtaking architecture and fine dining to the beaches of the Grand Floridian, the WDW Resort is truly an all inclusive resort that will more than meet your needs.
