Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

The Yacht Club is on 25-acre Crescent Lake. Like the Beach Club, it was designed by Robert A. M. Stern and meant to bring to mind the New England shore of the 1880s. Also a five-story deluxe resort, the Yacht Club has a gray clapboard facade with whitewashed-wood trim. A nautical theme is carried throughout the resort with brass, millwork and hardwood floors. This resort even comes complete with a lighthouse to guide you home from the parks every night!

There are 621 rooms at the Yacht Club and each measures 380 square feet. These rooms are made to comfortably accommodate a family of five at a cost of $200-$600 per night with the suites (made to accommodate up to a family of ten) being on the high end. Each guest room is furnished with either one king-sized bed or two queen-sized beds, a sleeper sofa or daybed, a table and two chairs, a set of drawers and an armoire with a TV and a stocked mini-bar. Many of the rooms have balconies or patios and all rooms have a view.

At this resort, you’ll enjoy 24-hour room service, newspaper delivery, valet parking, turndown service (on request), chess and checkers sets available on loan, coin laundry, child care facilities and babysitting, and access to Stormalong Bay, a mini water park.

The Ship Shape Health Club, a shared facility between the Yacht and Beach clubs, features Nautilus and cardiovascular machines, a sauna, steam room, whirlpool, and massage (by appointment). All of these are available to guests over the age of 13.

Also shared with Beach Club guests is the Periwig Salon. This unisex salon offers full service for hair, skin and nails.

A variety of dining options abound between the Yacht and Beach clubs from casual buffets to the best steakhouse in Walt Disney World. The Cape May Café offers a nightly all-you-can-eat clambake buffet and even has its own character breakfast so the kids can start their day off on the right foot.

An arcade, tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, bocci ball and croquet courts are also available for both Yacht and Beach club guests. Because this is on a 25-acre lake, let’s not forget the water rentals that are available for your recreational enjoyment like hydro bikes, pedal boats, pontoon boats and Water Mouse boats.

Transportation to the amusement parks is available by bus or boat and all guests of Disney’s Yacht Club qualify to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours and E-Ride Nights.
