Exotic Budget Hotels

How much is too much to spend on a hotel room? If you dropped a bundle to jet off to an exotic vacation destination then you may be looking for ways to save some dough on your hotel room.

The following lodgings are offering rooms for $100 or less. And the best part: you won’t have to sacrifice comfort or cleanliness if you plan to take advantage of these cost saving accommodations.

BRAZIL

Rooms at Pousada do Caju are located just 500 feet from the ocean. When you aren’t swimming in the sea you can take a dive in the inn’s bamboo framed pool. And if you think the $90 room rates are great get a load of the inn’s price for a 45-minute beachfront massage—-just $30.

COSTA RICA

The Shawandha Lodge is known for its eclectic designs. Each of the property’s 13 all wood bungalows feature bathroom walls covered in tile mosaics of Mayan warriors and jungle motifs. For just $85 per night you will enjoy a spacious room with a porch and receive free breakfast at the lodge’s open-air restaurant where howler monkeys keep guests company.

MEXICO

Bahía de la Luna’s 11 thatched-roof cabanas edge a white-sand beach in Oaxaca. Access to the cobalt blue waters plus one night in a clean room and breakfast will cost you just $60.

San Miguel de Allende’s Hotel Posada Carmina was once an 18th-century colonial home. It’s now a 24-room hotel with wooden-beamed ceilings and a restaurant in the former stables. And for just $100 per night you can wake up in a grove of orange trees and walk to the hotel’s courtyard restaurant to enjoy a free breakfast.

MOROCCO

Dar Sara is a traditional Moroccan house, where the staff greets guests with cups of freshly brewed mint tea upon arrival. All 12 rooms have private baths and practically everything that adorns the walls in the guest rooms, including the glass-and-metal lanterns is handcrafted. A standard room plus breakfast will cost you just $86 per night.
