Family Affair on NBC

You know what they say about sisters who work together…

The family ties that bind Hollywood’s famous Arquette family will get even tighter next month.

That’s when Rosanna Arquette will guest star on sister Patricia’s show “Medium.”

The NBC hit series will be getting a double shot of the Arquette’s on April 7th. Show producers say the 48-year-old actress will take on the role of “a calculating ‘cougar’ who enjoys the challenges of bedding younger men.” Rosanna’s character reportedly appears in the dreams of crime-fighting psychic Allison Dubois (played by Patricia) “when her sexual escapades turn deadly,” according to network reps.

Patricia calls her sister a “very strong comedic and dramatic actress” and says the role required both elements so fans are in for a real treat.

Rosanna’s guest stint on the peacock network’s spooky series makes her the third Arquette sibling to join sister Patricia on the award-winning drama. The family of actors also includes David Arquette, Richmond Arquette and Alexis Arquette. David recently directed two episodes of “Medium,” and Richmond guest starred on the show two years ago.

As for Rosanna’s appearance, sister Patricia says having her around just showed crew members that “I have yet another sibling nicer than me.”

Speaking of NBC and families… the network’s “first family” of morning TV just announced the stars who will be calling the plaza outside the “Today” show’s studios home in the coming months.

According to NBC execs, Paula Abdul and Miley Cyrus are among the singers who will headline the “Today” show’s 13th annual concert series.

Word has it Abdul will kick off the series on April 25, while Cyrus is set to perform on July 25th.

Other headliners include Ashlee Simpson, Rascal Flatts, Natasha Bedingfield, Neil Diamond, Mary J. Blige, Alanis Morissette, the B-52s, Donna Summer, Chris Brown, Kenny Chesney, Rihanna, Coldplay and Sheryl Crow.
