I can hardly believe that it’s January 31st and you’ll see more on my thoughts on this subject in the End of January Fitness Checkup over in the fitness blog. But still, it’s the end of the first month of the year. We’re 31 days down into 2007 with just 334 days left. We’re running headlong into February and while we may have recovered from the holidays over the last few weeks, we’re heading into a whole new set of holidays over the next few months including:
- Groundhog’s Day or Candlemas
- Valentine’s Day
- St. Patrick’s Day
- Spring Equinox
- Easter
For most of us though, February is about Valentine’s Day and for the next fourteen days, here in the marriage blog, I’m going to be focusing on romance, romance, romance. Whether it’s romantic dates, romantic actions, romantic gifts or just romantic times – we’re going to enhance our perceptions of romance.
We’re going to look at the romance of every day activities. Not just the gifts of flowers, but the gifts of actions, the gifts of thoughts and the gifts of emotion. Love and romance are powerful and potent in combination and while I agree that Valentine’s is a Hallmark holiday, why let the thought of it go to waste?
For February, we’ll also be launching our Love Notes – letters and notes written by readers to and about the ones they love. Some of you have written questions about love, about relationships and about making life in marriage worth living and more. I want to share the romantic stories of the historical, the famous and the everyday.
So from our 14 Days of Romance to our Love Notes and our Letters of Love – we’ll be giving romance our highest priority. So if you have a story to share, a thought of love to give or a question you want answered, send them in – we’ll keep the names anonymous if you wish and we’ll publish them if you want – so tell me – what is your love story?
Be sure to come back tomorrow for our first love letter and more.
