Natural resources of the U. S.: There is a great series of books called True Books: Natural Resources that will teach students all about the resources of the US in a clear thorough way.

Relationship between the U. S. and Canada: Discover the www.canada.gc.ga website as well as the K12studycanada.org website.
Comparative cultures of Canada: The websites mentioned above will help you discover the cultures of Canada as well as books like Wow Canada.
Countries and cultures of the Western Hemisphere: Central America, West Indies, South America: Pick up children’s books such as A Brief History of Central America, The West Indies, and Explore South America.
Map and globe skills: These skills should have been learned in earlier grades starting as early as grade 1. During the year as you discover different places and regions, use your globe, map, and atlas.
