The Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Mobile is a triply soothing way to calm your baby at bedtime. With music, dangling fish, and a ceiling display, this mobile will relax and mesmerize your baby until s/he falls asleep. The Mobile also comes with a remote control so that you do not have to re-enter your baby’s room to restart it.
You can choose from four settings on this mobile: music only, music with fish moving, music with fish moving and ceiling light show, music with light show. There are five lullabies and soft ocean sounds that your baby can enjoy while watching fish swim above his/her head. The light show features bubbles, fish, and swirl shapes projected onto the ceiling from cutouts in the top of the mobile. When your baby wakes in the morning, there is even a squishy fishbowl, which is on the crib attachment, with which s/he can play.
My husband and I received this mobile as a gift for our daughter. When she was still sleeping in our room, we also enjoyed the soothing sounds and ceiling light show. The only problem we ran into was with the remote. There is a note in the product instructions that due to the frequencies of different remote controls and other electronic equipment that the remote could malfunction (or something to that effect). Well, the remote that came with the mobile did not work for us, so we were resigned to simply pushing the button again when the mobile turned off and Ciera was not yet asleep. However, one night when we decided to turn on the television when going to bed, we were scared out of our wits! The television remote control had worked on the mobile and we had restarted it by turning on the TV! It was actually kind of funny and we had a new alternative way to restart the mobile. So, there is a tip in case you buy this product and the remote does not work – try your television remote control.
