Friday Funnies: Some Frugal Humor

Frugal Funnies, HumorHope your week has been a good one. TGIF! I am so happy the weekend is finally here, as we’ve had a busy week and have several things to accomplish this weekend. This is our last weekend before our three youngest return to school next Thursday! So we will be shopping for school supplies and a first day of school outfit for three of them!

To end the week on a great note, here are a few funny budget/saving money related jokes to end your week on laughter, and start your weekend on a smile!

Two accountants are in a bank, when armed robbers burst in. While several of the robbers take the money from the tellers, others line the customers, including the accountants, up against a wall, and proceed to take their wallets, watches, etc. While this is going on accountant number one jams something in accountant number two’s hand. Without looking down, accountant number two whispers, “What is this?” to which accountant number one replies, “it’s that $50 I owe you.”

Budget: An orderly system for living beyond your means.

Mary decided it was time to trim her household budget wherever possible, so rather than having her dress dry-cleaned, she washed it by hand.
Proud of her savings, she boasted to her husband, “Just think, honey, we’re eight dollars richer because I washed my dress by hand.”
“Good,” her husband replied. “Wash it again!”

A Scotsman left on a long trip across the country, taking a train the entire length of the line. At each station along the way, he insisted that he had to get off of the train to buy a new ticket. He chose to not buy a ticket to his final destination, but just one to take him to the next stop on the line.
After watching this go on for several hours, another passenger asked, “Why are you buying all of these individual tickets, man? Why not just save yourself time and money and just get one ticket for the rest of your trip? You’d save 25%.”
The Scotsman scowled at the very idea, and darkly replied, “My doctor told me that I am not long for this world. I don’t plan to waste any of my money on train tickets I may not use while I am here!”

Have an excellent weekend!!
