There are a lot of genealogy podcasts out there. These make excellent resources for genealogists. You can learn more about genealogy techniques, conferences, resources, and more. Podcasts are free to download or stream, and you can listen to them on your mp3 player as you commute.

The Geni Podcast is the podcast from the Geni.com website. They had an episode called “Securing Your Genealogy” that was released on June 23, 2011. The episode is full of advice about how to preserve original documents and photos, how to properly scan them, and suggestions about how to back up your genealogy data.
Eastman’s Online is an excellent resource for genealogists. Part of this website is a blog, but there is also a podcast. On June 26, 2011, they released an episode called “An interview with Grant Brunner of Geni.com”. The interview took place at the Southern California Genealogy Jamboree that was held in Burbank, California. Grant Brunner is the Community Outreach Manager at Geni.com..
Family History Podcast has an episode called “Lost Cousins – Reconnect Today”. This episode has an interview with Peter Calver, who is the Founder and President of the LostCousins.com website. They discuss the benefits of using the that website.
Geneabloggers has a podcast that is done through Blog Talk Radio. They have an episode that was released on June 24, 2011. It was called “Genealogy, Adoption Records, and Blended Families”. Special guests include Debbie Mieszala, who is a certified genealogist specializing in forensic genealogy. Her information can help you understand adoption records and research. Another special guest is Angela Walton-Raji from the African Roots Podcast. She will be discussing blended families.
The African Roots Podcast had an episode that was released on June 17, 2011. In this episode, Angela Walton-Raji is attending the Institute for Genealogical and Historical Research at Samford University, and she recommends you take this sort of training. She also talks about Juneteenth weekend.
