Great Weekend for Finding Coupons!

There will be three coupon inserts this weekend, a SmartSource, a RedPlum, and a Proctor and Gamble Brandsaver. If you are saving up special coupons for a doubles spree at Kmart, this is a good weekend.

During their double coupons promotion June 6-13, Kmart will be limiting the double coupons to ten coupons per customer. One way you can expand on this is to do your shopping trip with other members of your family. Bring your spouse, your teens, your siblings, and let them each check out separately with their ten coupons. Divide and conquer!

There are sales at Kmart on Proctor and Gamble products. Be sure to match the coupon to the savings. I am not sure about the buy 1 get 1 free sales at Kmart, if they will take two coupons (one for each item) and double them both. I’d be interested in hearing from you folks about your experiences with redeeming double coupons at Kmart. For maximum efficiency and use, redeem coupons that are good on one item each. Covergirl at Kmart will be Buy 1 get 50% off, so it is likely you could match two coupons to those items. You’ll find Covergirl coupons in this weeks Proctor and Gamble Brandsaver on Sunday.

Coupons.com has new coupons posted. Be sure to check these out, and print what you need before hitting the stores this weekend. There are several $1 coupons for Keebler cookies. If you combine those with double coupon promotions or in store sales, you could get a very good deal.

Kraft continues to heavily promote printable coupons through several sources. Go to their website and find coupons for Veleveta shells and cheese or macaroni and cheese and click to donate a box to Feeding America. You can also print coupons for yourself. If you shop at Kroger, Smith’s, Ralph’s, King Soopers, and a few other stores, you will also find that you can download coupons to your shopping card and benefit local food banks through their “Bringing Hope to the Table” promotion.

Wouldn’t it be great if more stores caught on to this idea!
