Have You Seen Janet Jackson Lately?

Headlines hail her as “newly svelte” and tell us how she lost sixty pounds in four months. What the headlines don’t tell us is how she did it. You have to dig a little deeper for that information. So, before you get down on yourself for not being able to drop sixty in four, I’m going to let you in on Janet’s secrets!

First of all, Miss Jackson has a Nutritionist. David Allen knows what he’s doing and has been doing it very well for the rich and famous for some time now. Check out his website here. David put Janet on a low carbohydrate diet but don’t worry, she didn’t have to figure out how to do all that at home, on her own. She used a gourmet meal delivery service called Fresh Dining. Fresh Dining delivered meals right to Janet’s door. She ate four to five times a day, never ate out and her calories stayed within the 1100-1400 calorie range. She consumed no white sugar, flour, alcohol or soda and drank lots of water.

Here is a sample day from the Fresh Dining menu:

Breakfast consists of Apple Walnut Pancakes with Turkey Bacon.
Lunch is a Turkey Pot Pie with Steamed Broccoli and Grilled Roma Tomatoes.
For an afternoon snack: Mexican Shrimp Cocktail.
Dinner is a Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Mashed Cheddar Cauliflower and Spinach.
If you still have room for dessert, you can have a Pear Empanada.
(Check out the Fresh Dining website here)

Now, anybody could lose weight and still feel satisfied on a diet like that but not everyone can afford it. Fresh Dining costs an average of $43 per day. That is over $1200 just for one month. Now if you don’t mind spending Junior’s college fund, you might consider it.

That wasn’t all Janet had working for her though. Janet had a trainer, Tony Martinez. Now Tony isn’t your everyday trainer. Tony went to Janet’s home and if she needed to get dragged out of bed to work out, Tony did it. A service like that doesn’t come cheap! (Think about it. Most of us can’t even get our best friends to do this for us!) Tony had Janet working out six days a week doing forty-five minutes of cardio work and some major muscle strength training like squats and lunges. Her cardio wasn’t just playing gerbil on a treadmill. Janet boxed, went to batting cages, ran stadium stairs, jogged on the beach and did some really fun stuff.

So tell me, if you had your meals and snacks delivered to your door and a trainer who dragged you out of bed, do you think you could lose sixty pounds in four months?

HECK YEAH!
