First, I must apologize for my absense. Overcoming being sick whilst having no health insurance should surely be a blog topic at Families.com in the near future.
Luckily, I will be feeling 100% (hopefully) by September 1st when I step onto a plane and embark on my Disney vacation that I won through McDonald’s Happiest Celebration Sweepstakes. When I mention this to family and friends, the first response is usually, “People actually win those things?”
Yes! Under law, someone has to win these types of sweepstakes, so why not you? The key to winning sweepstakes? You have to actually enter!
There are literally hundreds of opportunities to win a free, all expense paid trip to Walt Disney World. To get you started, here’s a few contests that are currently underway.
Currently, Dixie has a promotion going on that allows you to bring 8 guests along for the trip. You can find out more about their contest by visiting them at their promotion page: Dixie “Surprise” Plate Promotion
This one is a bit of fun as well as giving you the chance to win a trip for 6 to Walt Disney World. It’s also through Disney’s main site, Disney.com. All you have to do is sign up for a Disney.com account (I’ve had one forever, they only send you mail if you want it) and win a game of Snow White Sudoku and you can then enter to win a Walt Disney World vacation. Simply sign up and enter at Disney’s Backstage Pass Sweepstakes page.
Kellogg’s Wobbler promotion allows you to enter to win a 3-night vacation for 8 including a sleepover in one of the theme parks. For instructions on how to enter the sweepstakes at Kelloggs.com.
How can you find more sweepstakes? I usually go to Google and enter the search terms, “Disney World” or “Disneyland” and “sweepstakes.” This will usually bring up a ton of different contests. Just make sure that the contests are current by checking the entry deadline.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that you’ll win, but by entering more sweepstakes, you’ll definitely increase your chances of winning. Good luck!!
