Indiana Jones and the Summer of Hidden Mysteries

Indiana Jones is back this summer (and in more than just the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). He’s rescued the Holy Grail, the Sankara Stones, the Crystal and the Ark of the Covenant. So what’s next for the erstwhile and dedicated archaeologist and professor? If you said Disneyland, you were right.

The Summer of Hidden Mysteries

On May 22, a new season of summer fun kicked off with Indiana Jones being seen randomly throughout the area. He’s seen often at the Temple of the Forbidden Eye where the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction plays, but now guests get to enjoy his exploits throughout the summer in the Summer of Hidden Mysteries.

What Does This Mean?

Visitors to the parks get to become archaeologists, interact with Professor Jones and even unscramble clues as they join their adventure hero. Lucasfilm Ltd has partnered with Disney to create this exotic adventure within an adventure for fans of Disney and Indiana Jones alike.

As part of the Summer of Hidden Mysteries, you will enjoy:

  • Random Acts of Indy – Guests will never know when Indy will appear, dashing through the crowd or darting over rooftops as he is pursued by the villains. The Secret of the Stone Tiger is an interactive storytelling adventure where the guests will help Indy to decipher codes, uncover clues and more
  • Indiana Jones and the Jungle Cruise – This familiar staple of Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom will be taking on a distinctly Indiana Jones flavor this season as Indy’s journeys take him along the river ways of the world
  • The Adventure Map – Guests can purchase a collectable map that will help them find clues and symbols throughout Adventureland
  • Picture Opportunities – Guests can now outrun the famous boulder from the opening sequence of Raiders of the Lost Ark – imagine adding that to your memory book for the experience?

So, are you ready for an Indiana Jones summer?
