LDS Family Week in Review: August 19-25

From genealogy to temple marriage to Education Week at BYU, we’ve covered the gauntlet of topics in the LDS blog this week.

Monday, August 20th: In Online Genealogy, we discussed some ways to research our family tree from the comfort of our own home.

Tuesday August 21st: In Obtaining the Records, we talked about how to get hold of the physical pages in our family tree. In Serving in the Primary: Primary Pianist, we discussed the important role of music in our children’s worship.

Wednesday August 22nd: In Dinner Discussions 2007 Week 31, we reviewed what was studied in church last Sunday. In Camping Out, we discussed a great way to encourage visiting teaching among our Relief Society. And in Young Women: Temple Marriage, we talked about the importance of emphasizing eternal marriage to our youth. And in General Conference: “I Am Clean,” we reviewed President Hinckley’s address to the men of the church.

Friday August 24th: In Juggling Family, Church, and School, we talked about ways to make sure our families stay close despite the various activities pulling on our time. In BYU 2007 Education Week, we talked about the opportunity to grow spiritually.

Saturday August 25th: In Preparation Procrastination, we took a humorous look at a few signs that you aren’t taking enough time to get ready for your lessons. And in People First, Tasks Second, we discussed the fact that we need to make sure we remember the people we are teaching and serving.
