Look Who’s Getting Ready to Rumba

Here it is… the moment “Dancing with the Stars” junkies have been eagerly anticipating for the past three months—the reveal! Which celebrities will be kicking up their heels, shimming, shaking, dipping and dodging cheeky comments from Len, Carrie Ann and Bruno come March 17th?

Take a look:

Actress Priscilla Presley—She has a solid fan base, but can she move like her former husband?

Radio and TV personality Adam Carolla—I think he’s a riot, but he’s also a self-professed couch potato so I don’t see him going far in the competition.

Actor Steve Guttenberg—Could be the show’s dark horse.

Olympic Gold Medal Figure Skater Kristi Yamaguchi—Could she be the female version of Apolo Anton Ohno? If she moves as well on the dance floor as she does on the ice she can count on my votes.

Former tennis pro Monica Seles—I group her with the likes of Laila Ali. Fierce competitor; could take it all.

NFL Player Jason Taylor—Athletes seem to do well on this show so I’m sure he’ll hang around for at least a couple weeks.

Telenovela star Cristian de la Fuente—Probably has a pretty solid female fan base considering he has a ripped body.

R&B singer Mario—He can sing, but can he ballroom dance?

Magician Penn Jillette—He looks like he has two left feet, but fans will probably keep him around for a few weeks no matter how poorly he performs on the first show.

Actress Shannon Elizabeth—She moved well in those Aerosmith videos… we’ll see if her male fans will keep her around beyond the first couple of weeks.

Actress Marissa Jaret Winokur—She’s a Tony Award-winning actress best known for her performance in “Hairspray.”

Actress Marlee Matlin—I’m sure fans will keep the pretty Oscar winner around for at least a few weeks as I’m sure DWTS producers will play up the challenges she faces as the show’s only deaf competitor.

Half of the aforementioned contestants will perform live on the March 17 premiere, and the other half will perform their first dances on Tuesday, March 18. Then, on March 24, the entire cast will perform a second dance before two celebrities are eliminated on the March 25 results show.

Who will you be rooting for?
