It is the time of year when many stores are having Back to School sales. These sales can be extremely helpful for parents who have more than one child who needs new clothing to wear to school this year. Macy’s is having a Back To School sale on children’s clothing right now.
Macy’s is a department store that sells clothing for men, women, juniors, children and infants. They have a great toy department, and also sell shoes, purses, bedding, perfume, and the kinds of items that one would need to decorate a home. You might recognize the name Macy’s from the famous Thanksgiving’s Day Parade that has huge balloon like floats, and is televised each year.
With the Macy’s Back To School sale, you can save 20% to 50% off clothing for girls and boys, (and babies too). You can shop the website by selecting the size of clothing that your child currently fits into. Choose from girls sizes 2- 6x, girls sizes 7-16, boys sizes 2-7 or boys sizes 8-20, and the website automatically brings you to the appropriate clothing that is on sale. You can also select to see clothing for baby girls 0-24 months, or baby boys 0-24 months.
There is also a Kids Clearance sale going on at the same time. You can get brand new clothing for $11.99, $9.99, or just $7.99, which are really low prices. You can see on the website that many of these clothes have been reduced to less than half of their original price. If you have already gone through your children’s closets, and found a few outfits that they can wear to school this year, the Macy’s sale is an inexpensive way to supplement what they already have. The Junior’s fashion clearance is also going on right now, and clothing from that sale is priced anywhere from $6.00 to $30.00 depending on the item. I have not been able to find any information about exactly when this sale is going to end.

It looks like Macy’s has included pants, shorts, skirts, and jumpers that many public and private schools require their students to wear in this clothing sale. (I am seeing clothing in tan, navy blue, and white, but not the plaid colors that some schools require).
