Through my many wanderings on the internet I found a new camera accessory that won’t help you take better pictures but will make you look great. I am a self confessed accessory junkie. When I have a passion for something in my life I usually go all out. Photographic accessories are way for me to unleash a little more of my creativity. Filters, tripods, software and a variety of lens are just a few of the accessories that give me the creative boost.
What I found that got me so excited was Kodak’s fashion jewelry neck and wrist straps. They are the cutest neck and wrist straps I have ever seen. Matter of fact I don’t know of any other manufacturer that has a line quite like this. They turn wearing your camera into a true fashion statement. No more wearing the boring old black camera strap in nylon or leather.
Of course the fashion jewelry neck and wrist straps are designed for the light weight point and shoot cameras. You won’t find one attached my SLR (single lens reflex) camera. I am sure the weight of my SLR would break a fashion strap. The Kodak version comes in pink, red, black, turquoise, silver and multicolor. With a price under $10 you could buy one to coordinate with all your outfits.
I can’t really tell from the Kodak website what type of connection they use to attach the strap to the camera. It may be completely compatible with other brand cameras or it may not work at all. I did a little more research and could not find a similar product designed specifically for my Casio Exilim camera either. But I have a solution in mind. I am headed to the local craft store today and plan on beading my own to match the camera pouch I made last weekend.
