Fall is in full swing and we are back for another great Monday Layout Challenge. This one will get you outside into the cool, brisk air and the beauty of Autumn unfolding around you.
I am really excited to present the details of today’s challenge:
Your layout challenge for this week is to get yourself outside and into the changing world. If your neck of the woods hasn’t exactly grasped fall yet, then that is okay, and you can just wait and try this one later. Get outside and snap a photograph of your house in the fall, your children in front of a tree in your background or perhaps even your car in the beautiful fall atmosphere.
The key is to capture the feeling of all around you. If you typically hang a fall wreath on your door, snap a photograph of it. Get photographs of anything and everything that reminds you that it is fall. Perhaps you usually make apple butter, great snap a photograph. Maybe you have a special candle that you only burn in the fall months. Again, snap a photograph. Assemble them all on a scrapbook layout using typical fall colors and title your layout something about the Essence of Fall or It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Autumn. Be sure to journal your feelings about this time of year. Include the activities you enjoy as a family and perhaps some things you dislike about this time of year.
So please, grab your camera and get started. And once you get those pictures back, do not wait. Scrapbook them immediately while your memories are fresh and the season is still as beautiful as Autumn always is.
Why do I do these challenges:
I am doing the weekly layout challenge for several reasons. One, I want you to get your photographs out of storage devices and onto your layouts, and two I want to help you brainstorm ideas, as well as use up your stash of supplies.
