More Pet Photography

Today, we’ll continue to explore some more photographers that specialize in portraits of pets. In my previous post, I covered several good ones. Here are some more:

Brian Ratty has some good information for photographing pets on this site. There are tips on backgrounds, lighting, shutter speeds, …etc.

NYPetShots is the site of another professional pet photographer, Steven Fromewick. The picture of him and his German Shephard is great. It brings back memories of my childhood Alaskan Malamute, Nanook. But that is a story for another day.

The photography site of fine art photographerRobyn Kessler has some awesome photos of pets and people. There are several samples of black and white photos too. She also does wedding photography.

Pyr Photography is yet another professional pet photography business. They say “if its got paws, claws, hoofs, fins, scales, or talons, we photograph it!”And what do you think happens when I click on the portraits link? It’s another Bassett!

Here is a site that has a whole list of pet photographers, especially feline related sites, for your perusal.

Pawprints Photography specializes in on location portraiture of your pets, in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC area. Okay, okay, I get it. Take more pictures of my Bassett Hound, Lucy!

Jim Dratfield’s Petography site is features some really cool pet photography. Thank goodness there are no Bassett Hounds!

Prestigious Pet Photography by Keith Ibson features some dog, horse, and cat photography.

Here is an article by the Washingtonian online, highlighting some great pet photographers.

Debbie Britain of Britain Photography is a simple looking site, with some nice photos of pets and families with pets.
