More Fun Trampoline Games

I recently published a blog describing some fun trampoline games since that time I have discovered a few more games I want to share.

Popcorn
In this game you will need a lot of balls of every size, preferably round. Put all the balls on the trampoline. Then begin jumping. Every time a ball is bounced off the tramp, whoever caused it to bounce off gets a point. Once all of the balls have been bounced of the tramp the person with the most points wins.

Elimination
One person is chosen to be the leader and does a simple trick. It is important to start with something simple because the tricks will progressively get harder. After the leader does his or her trick each person does the same trick. Then the leader does another trick a little harder than the first and the others copy it. When a child cannot do the trick they are out. The game continues until only one child and the leader remain. That child becomes the next leader.

Horse
This game is for two to four older players. You will need a large round ball that can be easily caught, preferably a beach ball or playground ball. To start, the players being a rhythm of jumping, sitting down, jumping, sitting down. Each time the players jump the ball is thrown to another person. So each player sits down, then bounces to a standing position and throws the ball. The other player must catch the ball and then sit down. If the rhythm is lost or the ball not caught the game begins again and the person who messed up gets the first letter in the word Horse. A rule we played by was that if the person throwing the ball did a bad throw making it impossible for the other person to catch it, that they got a letter. The first person to spell the word Horse loses the game.

Cat and Mouse
One person is the cat and the others are the mice. You start with the cat and mice in opposite corners. Then the cat tries to catch the mouse, once a mouse is caught they are out. You can move around the tramp on your knees or bum.

Log Roll
One person is the log and lays down on the tramp. They roll from side to side while the other people jump over the log. If the log touches the legs of a person they are out. Be careful sometimes the log gets stepped on.
