Less than a week after their divorce was finalized ex-super celebrity couple Paul McCartney and Heather Mills showed up in front of cameras… a half a world a way from each other.
The former Beatle was snapped getting in some R&R with rumored ladylove Nancy Shevell during a tropical getaway on the coast of Antigua. PEOPLE magazine is reporting that the low-key couple have secluded themselves in a $2,375-a-night two-bedroom suite with a kitchen and beachside balcony at Jumby Bay, a posh resort on a 300-acre private island.
Their days in paradise have reportedly been spent taking long walks along the beach, reading paperbacks by the pool and biking around the city of St. John’s on Antigua.
As for any signs of serious romance between the two, it appears the jury is split. Some observers say McCartney and Shevell looked more like “friends than lovers.” While others say the couple “oozed romance” and seemed to be having a wonderful time enjoying each other’s company.
I’m not sure what to believe. Do you? The pictures I’ve seen of McCartney and Shevell make them appear as though they are more than “just friends.” Then again, their ultra-luxe island suite does have two bedrooms.

Half a world away Heather Mills was all smiles for the paparazzi this weekend while she confirmed that she indeed will be serving as a celebrity judge for the upcoming Miss USA Pageant.
Hmm… is that really reason to smile?
The former Mrs. Paul McCartney will join fellow judges actor/comedian Rob Schneider, actor/musician Joey Fatone, soap star Kristian Alfonso, Olympic-champion swimmer Amanda Beard, actress Kelly Carlson and San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman on April 11th in Las Vegas.
Perhaps Mills can make a new friend in Marie Osmond, who will be hosting the pageant with brother Donny. After all, they both competed on “Dancing with the Stars” and both are recently divorced. Only one went out with a bit more dignity than the other… both on and off the dance floor.
