National Park Travel Package

Have you ever dreamed of visiting some of the United States’ most legendary sites, such as Mount Rushmore, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park… all in one summer?

It might sound like a massive undertaking for a single family but one travel company is making it simple by offering a national park travel deal. For $995 per person BudgetTravel.com is giving adventurous families the chance to tour some of the country’s most historic sites.

The journey begins in Rapid City, where you’ll spend two nights at the downtown Radisson. Your travel itinerary includes trips (via air-conditioned motor coach) to Mount Rushmore where you can admire the sculpted faces of our nation’s most prominent presidents; the Crazy Horse Memorial, which was created in honor of the Sioux Lakota Indian leader, Crazy Horse; and the Indian Museum of North America.

Your next stop will be Billings, Montana where you will spend some time exploring Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. You’ll stay overnight at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Billings before heading off to Cody, Wyoming the next day.

In Wyoming your family will tour the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, the Plains Indian Museum, and the Whitney Gallery of Western Art before crossing the Continental Divide into Yellowstone National Park. While at the park private tour guides will lead you to Norris Geyser Basin and Mammoth Hot Springs on the upper loop, and Old Faithful Geyser, Fountain Paint Pots, Yellowstone Lake, Yellowstone Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone Falls in the lower loop. The price of the package includes two nights at Old Faithful Inn, Old Faithful Snow Lodge or Grant Village, all of which are located within the national park.

The itinerary also includes a stop at Grant Teton National Park, home to the 12,000-foot-high Teton Range. While there you will picnic on the banks of the Snake River and meet the park’s four-legged residents. After bonding with the local wildlife you’ll be driven to Jackson, a town in the Jackson Hole valley where you’ll have free time to visit local shops and area art galleries before retiring for the night at the Virginian Lodge.

On the last day of your journey you’ll ride through Bridge-Teton National Forest, cross the Oregon Trail into Idaho, and stop by Bear Lake before reaching Salt Lake City. While in Utah you will visit Temple Square and the Mormon Tabernacle. Your last night will be spent at the Hilton in the heart of Salt Lake City.

The package price of $995 breaks down to $142 a night and covers seven nights’ accommodations, most meals, transportation by the motor coach, tour guides and all activities. The offer expires at the end of September.
