Dog Channel and Perfect Coat are on the hunt for some new spokesdogs. Three grand prize winners will be primped and pampered for a professional photo shoot and appear on Perfect Coat shampoo labels. With varieties like Ultra Moisturizing and Tender Care Puppy shampoo, Perfect Coat has something for everyone. The three grand prize winners will appear on three different varieties of Perfect Dog shampoo. Pretty cool!
If your dog doesn’t finish in the top three, he’s still got a shot at a runner-up prize. Five runners-up will win generous gift baskets filled with Perfect Coat grooming products. With a consolation prize like that, you can have your own pampering session and photo shoot at home!

Three grand prize winners and five runners-up will be announced online at DogChannel.com on September 1st. As of this writing, there are around 400 entries. Those odds aren’t too bad if you ask me!
Entry is relatively quick and easy — the basic owner info (name/address/phone) and a single pic of your pup. After that, it asks you to explain why your dog would be the perfect Perfect Coat model. Fun!

I may be biased, but I think my dog Moose would make a pretty good shampoo model. For one thing, he loves baths! With his hips, he has a bit of a struggle getting into the tub, but he loves being scrubbed. He also loves being brushed… he’d definitely enjoy the lead-up to the professional photo shoot that is part of the grand prize. Moose has a great “smile”, too — he’s got shiny white teeth. Maybe he should be a toothbrush model, instead.
