Pirates & Princess Party Returning This Summer

Pirates are the hot things this summer at Disney, but Princesses are always in season and this summer, the Pirates and Princess Party is returning to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The party allows you to take up your adventure map and treasure pouch on a journey through the Magic Kingdom in search of royal beads and chocolate doubloons.

There will be Pirate Coves, Princess Courts, a new Enchanted Adventures Parade as well as the Music and Mayhem fireworks display. The Pirates and Princess parties will be hosted during evening events at the Magic Kingdom over the summer in similar tradition to the Christmas Parties and Halloween parties that Disney is famous for hosting.

August is the Month

The summer 2007 dates for the Pirates and Princess Parties are:

  • August 11
  • August 15
  • August 18
  • August 21
  • August 24
  • August 28
  • August 31
  • September 3

The parties will last from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. and the tickets will have to be purchased separately from the standard admission tickets to the park. These tickets will go on sale June 1st, so if you are planning a vacation to Disney World this August, you and your children should both check out one of these evening events – they are often a great deal of fun and engage the imagination as you get to adventure and quest throughout the theme park.

Your princesses and pirates will also be able to dress up in their favorite princess and pirate costumes – and so do Mom and Dad! So not only do you get to dress up and enjoy the specialized attractions of the Pirates and Princess party, but also the many other great attractions that the Magic Kingdom has to offer from The Timekeeper to Space Mountain to the Haunted Mansion and of course – the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Have you ever been to a Pirates and Princess Party?
