When a new scrapbook magazine is introduced, many scrapbookers cannot wait to get to the store and buy the first copy, some will even subscribe immediately (that’s me). But then there are other’s who wait until they hear what their friends have to say before getting a subscription or going on a hunt to find the magazine at their local store.
Scrapbook Answers Magazine, who calls themselves “The Ultimate Guide to Scrapbooking”, is the newest addition to the scrapbook magazine newsstand. It is worth every penny!
From their website:
“Scrapbook Answers is the first scrapbooking magazine devoted to hands-on instruction, modern design, and coverage of the hottest scrapbooking products and tools—both digital and traditional. We showcase the freshest page ideas, and provide easy-to-follow step-by-step guides to show you exactly how to re-create the beautiful layouts you see in our pages.”
A truly unique feature of the magazine is that every issue comes with an awesome CD. The CD’s are packed with instructional videos, free font collections, photos, demo software and a whole gallery of layouts.
The magazine is published nine times per year, with the promise of up to three special issues found on the newsstands throughout the year. A one year subscription (nine issues, nine CD’s) is $24.95 and can be ordered directly off their website.
Scrapbook Answers can be found at many different locations, though they admit that it might be awhile before it can be found at independent retailers. Some of the more popular places to find the magazine are:
Target, Wal-Mart, K-mart, Kroger’s, Smiths, Safeway, Jo-Ann’s, Michael’s, Barnes & Noble, Borders, and many more retail chains.
They offer current page calls in each issue as well as on their website. And submitting your work is as easy as visiting the website and filling out the submission form.
I have received three issues of Scrapbook Answers, and have loved every one of them. The CD’s are high quality and contain wonderful information that I’ve already used in my own layouts, as well as cool products and software I’ve been able to try out before having to buy it.
Each issue I’ve received has been full of wonderful articles, picture perfect scrapbook layouts, and only the latest and greatest, fabulous new products and additions to the scrapbooking market. I read them over and over again.
This magazine is by far my favorite, and it took a lot of other subscriptions to figure that out.
