Reunited And It Feels So Good

They said it wouldn’t happen (or at least he did), but it looks like the MTV curse may have not had enough power to keep Shanna Moakler and her rocker husband Travis Barker from reuniting.

According to media reports (see: Moakler shouting the news from the rooftops of various L.A. hotspots), the former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant and her Blink 182 drummer hubby have reconciled and plan to give their marriage another shot.

“I’m madly in love with my husband,” Moakler reportedly told a gaggle of photographers that showed up to document the 32nd birthday party Barker threw for her at a Miami nightclub.

According to PEOPLE magazine, more than 100 guests, including Kimberly Stewart and Mark McGrath, listened to Barker sing an off-key rendition of “Happy Birthday” to Moakler before kissing her on the lips. This public display of affection comes on the heels of a highly publicized split the couple endured following their stint on the MTV reality show “Meet the Barkers.”

Barker and Moakler have two children together and at one point were not speaking to each other after Barker filed for divorce last August.

So bygones are bygones… and they don’t even have to get remarried (though I wouldn’t be surprised to see them host a lavish vow renewal ceremony ala other celeb couples who split and reunite).

One celeb who has publicly vowed that she will never marry again is Halle Berry. The actress made the announcement in the April issue of InStyle magazine.

While she confirms that she is still dating model Gabriel Aubry (they’ve been seeing each other for more than a year), Berry claims she doesn’t plan to walk down the aisle with him – or anybody.

“I will never, never get married again,” the Oscar winner told the magazine.

It’s not like Berry hasn’t been there, done that before. You may recall she’s tried to make marriage work – twice. Once when she wed Atlanta Braves player David Justice and again when she married R&B singer Eric Benét. Unfortunately, both marriages ended in divorce.

As for Aubry (who happens to be 11 years her junior), Berry met him while shooting a Versace ad in November 2005. While she admits that she will not make her relationship with Aubry “legal,” Berry did tell the magazine she is anxious to be a mother and is not against adopting children.
