Scrapbook Storage Sale

My email inbox is bursting at the seams with Black Friday ads. There’s no way I am venturing out in the freezing cold at some gosh forsaken hour to battle bargain hunters… this year. However, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to being tempted by some of the sales, including ones for scrapbooking storage items.

I could use a couple of sturdy storage carts for my scrapbooking supplies. Actually, I could use the help of Ty Pennington and the rest of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition crew to build an entire scrapbooking room, but I don’t think there is a Black Friday sale for that.

Ideally, I’d like one cart that’s open and one that includes hidden storage features. Some cheaper carts are equipped exclusively with open shelves while other higher priced versions have convenient drawers for supplies or a combination of shelves and drawers. I need a cart with at least a few drawers as I have a curious child who would ravage my supplies if given the chance. On the flipside, I am also a visual person, who is a bit lazy, so the carts with open shelving that allow me to see everything and access my supplies easily are also on my Santa list.

Since I don’t do a lot of digital scrapbooking I also need a cart that can accommodate a fair share of supplies. Having storage on wheels is also a plus. Since I don’t have an entire scrapbooking room to work in, my supplies need to be mobile. Currently, I am using a small TV cart with wheels to store my scrapbook materials. It was a cheap alternative that works for now. Other inexpensive storage carts that could be used for scrapbooking materials include kitchen carts for microwaves, filing cabinets or shoe storage carts.

If none of those options excite you, then consider splurging a bit at Black Friday sales. Scrapbook.com and Scrapbooking Warehouse are offering decent discounts on select organizational tools, including supply carts.
