Sensa Doesn’t Make Sense

I was listening to the radio the other day and heard a commercial come on for a weight loss product called Sensa. I really couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

The announcer was declaring how great the product was and that you can lose weight without changing your eating habits. Not only that but you can lose weight without exercise.

The thought that immediately popped into my mind was that Sensa just doesn’t make sense. What a devious way to sell a product.

While it may be true, I really don’t know, that you can lose weight with Sensa, it doesn’t make sense that you would continue unhealthy eating habits. I went to their website to check it out and read that all you do is sprinkle the stuff on your meals and snacks and that you can lose weight without feeling deprived.

Okay so what’s wrong with feeling deprived? What’s wrong with depriving yourself of your junk food? What’s wrong with depriving yourself of foods that could literally kill you?

Sure sprinkle some of their magic dust, eat what you want, lose weight but develop other serious health conditions because you are eating whatever you like. It just doesn’t make sense.

I think we need to get a grip on why weight loss is important. It is not just so someone looks better. It is not just to please a spouse or whoever. It is to get healthier. While they may call Sensa a “natural” way to lose weight, I say that they make absolutely no sense and that they are helping to contribute too many health conditions that Americans are plagued with.

Whether it’s Sensa or any other weight loss “miracle,” if it declares that you can lose weight without making any changes to your lifestyle then it probably doesn’t make sense. And if it doesn’t make sense, then it certainly doesn’t make sense to spend your hard-earned money on it or to risk what the side effects could be.

The only real “natural” way to lose weight is to eat healthier and exercise.
