Sharing Love Quotes on Valentine’s Day

When you read an exceptionally beautiful quote do you tuck it away and only look at it when you are alone, or do you feel compelled to share it with the world. Most avid scrappers fall into the latter group, especially when they are putting together a Valentine’s layout.

Love quotes are the perfect addition to a page devoted solely to expressing your feelings about the person you care for the most. Sometimes a simple quote can inspire an entire poem which you can feature on your layout as well. If you lack the romance gene and can’t pen a love poem to save your life, then look to books or greeting cards for inspiration. Heck, even a fortune cookie can offer love-filled words that can be added to a Valentine’s Day page design.

If you are really in love and have a bunch of time on your hands, then consider jotting down 100 reasons why you are so infatuated with your sweetheart. The results yield an impressive layout. Writing out 100 reasons you love a person may sound tedious, but why not have fun with it? Don’t pressure yourself into waxing poetic for each and every reason; rather, consider adding quirky items that add a personal touch, such as “I love the way you brush your hair in the morning” or “I love the way you fluff up the bed pillows at night.” The more personal and endearing the better. After all, you are not looking to publicly share your intimate Valentine’s Day layout; rather, it should be created for one person, and that person is not going to judge you on your perceived lack of creativity.

If you don’t have time to complete the list of 100 reasons, then pen a quick and easy rhyming poem, the kind that school kids are known for. Think: “kiss” and “miss” or “heart” and “apart;” you get the idea. Write what you know about your lover, include a bunch of your favorite photos, and soon you will have a Valentine’s Day scrapbook that will melt anyone’s heart.
