For scrapbook designers looking to put a little hop into an otherwise boring Easter-themed layout, consider channeling your inner Jerry Seinfeld or Maya Angelou.
Sharing a smile along with Easter photos of your family members can go a long way to liven up a traditional holiday page design. For instance, rather than simply adhering a bunch of pictures of your children participating in an outdoor egg hunt on plain scrapbook paper, pepper the space with silly Easter jokes, such as:

They egg-cellerated

Another way to add pizzazz to an Easter layout is to scan one of your child’s holiday-inspired art pieces and use it to create background paper. Even the most basic desktop publishing software program will allow you to manipulate the artwork, so that you can print it out on plain or textured paper and use it in your scrapbook. If you don’t have children at home, paint or draw your own Easter scene and use it as the centerpiece or background to a spring-themed layout.
Finally, while it would be extra-special to pen an original Easter poem to add to your memory book, you don’t have to stress yourself by putting together your own prose. Rather, look on the Internet for a few inspirational or whimsical poems that you can add around photos or as page borders. It’s such a sweet and simple poem that can be typed up, printed out on pastel cardstock and added to your layout without breaking the bank.
