Stampin’ Up Profile and Interview (3)

We have been talking to Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Kimberlee Patton about the company and her home business. Stampin’ Up! is a direct sales company offering card making, crafting and scrapbooking supplies through home sales, parties and catalog orders. Here is the last part of the three part interview.

Nicole: Are you allowed to have a website and/or sell online?

Kimberlee: We are able to set up a website through the company. Our catalogs are now online, but it’s not possible to order online. The only thing we are allowed to sell online is retired products or personal creations, such as cards and scrapbooks.

Nicole: Kimberlee, what is YOUR personal favorite product(s)?

Kimberlee: Our designer paper, especially the seasonal ones featured in the mini catalogs, background stamps, whimsical alphabet set, chipboard for its versatility, hodgepodge hardware, but most of all our watercolor crayons! I enjoy using our mini envelope template with our 2-sided designer paper!

Nicole: What would you like to share with anyone thinking about becoming a Stampin’ Up rep, about the business, the products, anything?

Kimberlee: It’s an amazing outlet for creativity of any level! I am constantly challenged and inspired by the creativity I see shared by paper-crafters. I was out of touch with my creative side for a long time until I discovered stamping. And now I’m thriving and blessing others. And this year I have seen just how much I am touching those around me. It is such an honor to receive cards handmade by friends/customers who have been inspired to start making cards because I took the time to share with them the techniques that get me excited. It’s wonderful to know that I have helped them be able to bless everyone in their circle with cards that they made just because I made time to share with them something that brings me joy. The joy just keeps growing in different ways! I would have to say that scrapbooking or cardmaking isn’t only for the “crafty and creative” types. It’s for anyone who needs a creative outlet or therapy! It is so therapeutic to get together with friends and make cards and scrap together. No one should stamp alone!

I’d like to thank Kimberlee for offering her time and expertise to teach us all about Stampin’ Up! products as well as the business. Thank you so much!
