Strawberry Pie
Quite a tasty little number!
INGREDIENTS:
1 quart fresh strawberries
1 count 9 inch baked pie shell
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tbs cornstarch
1 package strawberry jelly powder
DIRECTIONS:
1. Lightly rinse strawberries. Remove green hulls and slice. Place in pie shell.
2. In a saucepan, whisk together water, sugar, and cornstarch.
3. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil, cooking 2 minutes more until translucent and thickened.
4. Remove from heat, add jelly powder and stir or whisk until dissolved.
5. While hot, pour evenly over fruit in pie shell. Chill until set.

Cook: 10 minutes
Serves: 8
