The Frugal Fanatic Returns

It has only been a little over a month since I last posted an article here at families.com and it feels like forever. I sure have missed it and I am really happy to be back. I took a month off of article writing to work on a book that I am writing, and several other smaller projects, and I am now back in full force and happy to be here!

It is amazing how fast time can fly, and how fast this whole year went by. I cannot believe it is almost Christmas, and I can tell you that around my house it definitely looks a lot like Christmas. I have hung the lights, put up the tree and used every ornament I could find to allow my children the joy of decorating our tree. We came up with some new decorative ideas this year as well.

In my typical frugal fanatic style, I have decorated to the hilt for Christmas with the low cost and elegant style that you are accustomed with. I am always on the look out for decorations and methods I could find or create for less. I plan to share some of those with you this month. I also have some terrific articles on frugally hosting get togethers and parties at this time of year, preparing food for less at Christmas and much more. Christmas is my favorite time of year so its easy to write articles on something I love.

In addition, at the end of the year, I will give you some great ideas to look forward to in the upcoming year, and we will ring the New Year in together here at families.com. I truly look forward to sharing this 2007 holiday season with you and giving you the information you need to stay frugal and focused.
