The Pets Blog Week in Review for Jan 22-28

Want a quick and easy way of catching up on the past week’s Pets Blogs? Here it is!

Starting this week, we’ll recap all of the Pets Blogs posted by the assigned bloggers, Aimee Amodio and myself , during the past week. Also, if we ever have any guest bloggers, their blogs will be included as well. We didn’t have any guest bloggers this week, though, so we’ll just kick things off with a review of what Aimee and I wrote about:

Monday, January 22
In Horsing Around with Mystery Author Kit Ehrman I interviewed the author about her interest in horses and the recently released fourth book in her Steve Cline mystery series. Aimee related a Native American legend in The Old Woman at the End of Time, whereby the old woman’s equally old and faithful dog keeps her company –and forever at work on a blanket.

Tuesday, January 23
Ooops! Nothing posted on this day, but we make up for it on Wednesday…

Wednesday, January 24
In A Trip to the Dog Park: Warm Sensations I examine the not-so-sensational side of renegade leg lifters. Murphy zooming around at top speed one cold morning last week inspired Dog Quirks: The Funny Little Things They Do. Likewise, personal experience inspired Aimee to write about the various Greeting Rituals our dogs and cats go through to welcome us home (or back, as the case may be if we’re visitors).

Thursday, January 25
Aimee discussed the various modes of cat hunting (both real and play) in Feline Hunting Games, and toys that can nurture these natural instincts.

Friday, January 26
In The Dog Whisperer: The Latest Craze in Doggie Discipline I share my thoughts about Cesar Millan. Aimee goes pup pubbing in search of A Brew For Your Best Friend, and surprisingly finds pup-safe, non-alcoholic beverages you and your pooch can enjoy together.

Saturday, January 27
In About Working Group Dogs, Aimee tells about dogs who were bred to work, and gives examples of such breeds and the kind of work they do.

Sunday, January 28
A day of rest for us to get ready to bring you another week of great topics!
