The Wiggles: Wiggle Time

The Wiggles are a group whose main purpose is to entertain children. They have released many videos, one of which is “Wiggle Time.” This DVD features many of the Wiggles’ songs along with footage from one of their concerts. Your child will love the energy and excitement behind the Wiggles.

The video begins with a clock that ticks and then its alarm rings. A beach ball then bounces toward the screen with the title of the first song. The beach ball is used throughout the entire video to introduce each song.

Like the other Wiggles DVD’s, this video is chock full of fun. The first song on this DVD is “Get Ready to Wiggle.” The Wiggles sing, dance their wiggly dance, and jump around. My daughter loves this song and she is trying to learn how to jump now. The next song is “Here Comes a Bear.” In this song, the Wiggles sing about four animals – a bear, a kangaroo, a snake, and a wombat – and how each animal moves. They roar at the end.

This entire DVD is full of fun songs, most of which are about animals. Near the end of the video during the concert segments, “Five Little Ducks” is sung by Murray and he and Captain Feathersword have a short conversation because the Captain is sad. Parents, if you pay close attention to this, you may get a laugh out of it, too! Murray and Captain Feathersword end up laughing when you know they shouldn’t be and it is hilarious!

The Wiggles are Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt, Anthony Field, and Greg Page. You can purchase DVD’s by the Wiggles at Toys-R-Us, Wal-Mart, the Wiggles’ website, and many other online and children’s retailers.

Note: The Wiggles website does not sell DVD’s to the USA or Canada. To purchase these online, go to Hit Entertainment.
