This Food Blogger Needs YOUR Help

It’s not secret the holidays are just around the corner. It’s no secret you may be about to plan your first or fiftieth holiday feast at your house. It’s no secret everyone on your guest list will be looking forward to devouring your scrumptious food.

But wait? You don’t know how to cook a turkey? You’ve never boiled a potato? And what the heck is a green bean casserole, you ask?

First let me tell you, you’re not alone. Whether you’re a new or seasoned cook, there is always some dish you’ve never prepared. Good cooks don’t start out knowing everything. It takes a lot of testing, trial and error, and the ability to laugh when you have to order pizza instead. Still, having a few special recipes on hand never hurt anyone.

And that’s why I need your help. Over the next few months, I’ll be posting some favorite holiday dishes. My Food co-blogger, Libby, already posted an awesome turkey recipe in fact. And now, I’d like to ask for your feedback about which dishes you’d like to see. No recipe is too simple or too complicated. If there is something you want to know how to cook, let me know and I’ll find it.

Holiday cooking doesn’t have to be daunting. There are tricks and shortcuts for just about any recipe. Be on the lookout for some classic holiday recipes, and for some recipes that are a bit outside the norm.

With a little help from Families.com you too can prepare a feast fit for a Queen!
