Three Ways to Get Creative With Page Titles

Scrapbooking is all about creativity, and finding creative ways to journal or create a title for your page is easy and fun to do. I love to incorporate fun ideas for page titles, and I’d like to share a few ideas with you.

One of my favorite ways to create a page title is to take a photograph. There are a couple of ways a photograph can be turned into a page title, but here is one of my favorites. All you have to do is look around you and locate a sign that tells about where you are. For instance, most parks have a sign at the beginning. You could pose the kids around the sign, or just zoom in on it and snap. Same with stores, restaurants and other places. You can crop the photograph, mat it and it can become a page title on its own. Another thing to do is another thing we do. We go to a lake a lot and it has a beach. We take a stick and in the sand we write the name of the lake, and the date. This makes a great way to title the page and for me to remember when those photographs were taken too!

Another fun way to incorporate a photograph into a page title, is to take a photograph of something about the place. For instance, snap a photograph of a fish tank at the local aquarium. Or snap a photograph of flowers outside at a park, or close in on a tree or the grass. Then using lettering templates, you can cut the letters out of the photos and use them to create a title at the top. It looks so cool when its finished.

You can also cut out words off postcards, cut out names off of brochures, sheet music, magazines and other locations. The possibilities are limitless.
